Mass Production (band)
Mass Production was an American funk/disco musical group, best known for their 1979 hit, "Firecracker". Based in Richmond, Virginia, the ten-piece group had a series of minor R&B hits in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

Mass Production consisted of LeCoy Bryant, Kevin Douglas, James Drumgole, Agnes "Tiny" Kelly, Larry Marshall, Gregory McCoy, Emmanuel Redding, Ricardo Williams, Samuel Williams, and Tyrone Williams.

Their best-known song, "Firecracker," hit number four on the R&B charts in the late summer of 1979. The group stayed together for several more years, scoring a string of small hits, before deciding to disband in 1983.

"Firecracker" was sampled by 2 Live Crew in 1989 for their own hit single "Me So Horny", from the album As Nasty As They Wanna Be.
