Mashgiach


 
 

Mashgiach is a Hebrew word which generally refers to a person who supervises the kashrut of a kosher establishment. It can also refer to a Mashgiach ruchani: a person who "supervises" the students of a yeshiva (comparable to a guidance counselor).
