Maryville, Missouri
Maryville is a city located in Nodaway County, Missouri. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 10,581. The town, organized on February 14, 1845, was named for Mrs. Mary Graham, wife of Amos Graham then the county clerk. Mary was the first caucasian woman to have lived within the boundaries of the site which would become Maryville.

It is the county seat of Nodaway County{{GR|6}}. Maryville is also home to Northwest Missouri State University and the Missouri Academy of Science, Mathematics and Computing. Maryville High School is also known for their mascot: The Spoofhound.
