Mary Institute & St. Louis Country Day School or "MICDS" is a nonsectarian, coeducational private school for about 1,200 students in grades K-12. The school has a strong academic tradition and sends the vast majority of its graduates to prestigious four-year colleges. It was the only prep school west of the Mississippi to be listed in 1980's The Official Preppy Handbook.
