Mary Gaitskill
Mary Gaitskill (born 1954) made her debut in 1988 with the short story collection "Bad Behaviour". Her fiction is heavily based on emotions and characterization and her subject matter deals with many taboo subjects such as prostitution, addiction, and sado-masochism.
