Marvin Lewis

Marvin Lewis (born September 23, 1958 near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) has been the head coach of the Cincinnati Bengals since 2003. He grew up and started playing football in the Pittsburgh suburb of McDonald.

Academics and College Career

Lewis earned his bachelor's degree in physical education from Idaho State University in 1981, and the next year, earned his Master's degree in athletic administration. In 2001, he was inducted into Idaho State's Hall of Fame, having earned All-Big Sky Conference honors as a linebacker (he also played quarterback and safety.) Ironically, the name of Idaho States' sports teams is also the Bengals.
