Mark Steyn
Mark Steyn is a Canadian journalist, columnist, and film and theatre critic. He was born in Toronto, and dropped out of school at 16 to work as a disc jockey. Eventually came under the employ of the BBC, hosting a show from New York, and making several documentaries for them. His writing career began in 1992, when The Spectator hired him as their film critic. He was later hired as a columnist for the "The Telegraph". ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Publications, senior North American columnist for Britain's Telegraph Group, North American editor for The Spectator and an internationally syndicated columnist, also writing for the Jerusalem Post (also owned by Hollinger), the National Review in the United States, and the Irish Times in Ireland.
