Mark Brunell
Mark Brunell (born 17 September 1970 in Santa Maria, California) is an American football quarterback and a social worker involved in local Christian ministries.
Early Years
At St. Joseph High School in Santa Maria, California, Brunell was both a quarterback and a safety on the football team during his three years with the football team. During his prep career, he passed for 5,893 yards and 41 touchdowns. He was also a two year basketball letterman, and amassed four all-league selections in baseball. In 1992, he was selected as a 44th round pick by the Atlanta Braves in the 1992 MLB draft.
