Marion Mahony Griffin


 

Marion Lucy Mahony Griffin (1871 - 1961) was an American artist and the first licenced female architect in the world. She worked in the studio of Frank Lloyd Wright designing furniture, stained glass windows and decorative panels. She and her husband Walter Burley Griffin were members of the Prairie School of architecture that is most often associated with the designs of Frank Lloyd Wright.
