Marion County, Texas
Marion County is a county located in the state of Texas. As of 2000, the population is 10,941. Its county seat is Jefferson6. Marion county is located in East Texas and is named for Francis Marion, the Revolutionary War general who was nicknamed the "Swamp Fox".
