Marilyn Miller
Marilyn Miller born Mary Ellen Reynolds September 1, 1898 Evansville, Indiana died April 7, 1936 New York, New York. Miller was a well known Musical stage star and tap dancer during the 1920's also performing in the Ziegfeld Follies. She gained fame in Ziedfeld production Sally for her performance of the song Look for the Silver Lining. Miller's film career was not as successful as her stage career. She only made three films, Her Majesty, Love' 1933, Sunny 1930 and the film remake of the stage version of Sally 1929. Miller had a long history sinus infections and died from complications of surgery on her nasal passages in 1936.
