Mariele Ventre

Maria Rachele Ventre (July 16, 1939 - December 16 1995), founder and director of Italian children's choir Piccolo Coro dell' Antoniano. Nominated and rewarded with many awards for her work with and for children. Three weeks before her death, she directed the choir and young solists at 38 Zecchino d'Oro international festival of song for children. Now, the choir has been directed by Sabrina Simoni, Ventre's assistant before.
