Prior to the 2004 collegiate season, Vick was arrested for providing alcohol to 3 underage girls who claimed to be college students, and later for reckless driving and possession of marijuana. He was suspended from the university for the fall semester of 2004, during which Virginia Tech won the Atlantic Coast Conference championship. Vick was reinstated to school and the football team under specific guidelines that warrant immediate expulsion for further transgressions.
