Manly Wade Wellman
Manly Wade Wellman (1903-1986) was a writer. He is best known for his horror stories set in the Appalachian Mountains, many of which featured the wandering ministrel Silver John. Wellman also wrote in other genres including: science fiction, fantasy, historical fiction, detective fiction, western fiction, juvenile fiction and non-fiction. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
