Manitoulin District, Ontario

The Manitoulin District is a district in Northeastern Ontario in the Canadian province of Ontario. It was created in 1888 from part of Algoma District. The district seat is Gore Bay.

The Manitoulin District comprises Manitoulin Island and a number of small islands around it. Although it previously included the municipality of Killarney on the mainland as well, Killarney was transferred to the Sudbury District in the late 1990s.
