Man in the Mirror
Man in the Mirror was a very popular hit for singer Michael Jackson when released as a single in the spring of 1988. The song's subject matter focused on Jackson's touch of social commentary even though the song's lyrics were composed by accomplished songwriters Glen Ballard and Siedah Garrett (who can be heard singing in the background with Jackson). The song kept Jackson's streak of #1 hits going as it became the fourth straight song to hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Other background vocals include Garrett, the Winans and the Andrae Crouch Choir. It remains one of Jackson's most popular songs.
