Makoto Iwamatsu (born December 10, 1933) is a Japanese actor. He is also known as Mako. He was born in Kobe, Japan, moved to the United States of America in the late 1940s, joined the military in the 1950s. He became a naturalized citizen in 1956. His first cinema role was in the 1959 film Never So Few.

He is also known for his role as the Wizard in the two Conan movies opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger in Conan the Barbarian and Conan the Destroyer. In 2001 he appeared as Admiral Yamamoto in Pearl Harbor.
