Unfortunately, the single flopped on The Hot 100 peaking only at #59. Years later, the song would be covered by Chanté Moore and her husband, Kenny Lattimore. Years after that, large portions of the song would be interpolated in the "Make It Last Remix" of Mariah Carey's "Thank God I Found You".
