Make-A-Wish Foundation
The Make-A-Wish Foundation is a non-profit organisation that grants wishes to children with life threatening illnesses.

Originally based in the United States, a chapter in Canada called Make-A-Wish Foundation of Canada was created in 1983. In addition a non-profit umbrella organisation called Make-A-Wish Foundation International was licensed by Make-A-Wish in 1993 that fosters the growth of affiliated Make-A-Wish organisations world wide. More than thirty countries are affiliated as of 2005.
