Maiden Voyage
The maiden voyage of a ship or aircraft is the first cruise or flight in revenue service, typically following a series of "shakedown" cruises or test-flights. Notable maiden voyages ending in disaster include that of the RMS Titanic or the swedish warship Vasa.
