Melvin Barcliff (born July 12, 1973 in Norfolk, Virginia) best known as Magoo is an African-American rapper. He is best known as one-half of the hip-pop duo Timbaland & Magoo with record producer Tim "Timbaland" Mosley. Like Timbaland, Magoo got his start in the music industry as a member of DeVante Swing's Swing Mob when mutual friend Missy Elliott got DeVante to sign the both of them when he sighed Elliott's group Sista.
