Madeleine de la Tour d'Auvergne
Madeleine de la Tour d'Auvergne (c. 1501? – c. 1519) was the wife of Lorenzo (II) de Medicis, Duke of Urbino, and the mother of Catherine de' Medici (1519–1589). Madeleine's parents were Jean III de La Tour (1467–1501), Count of Auvergne, and a princess of Bourbon (1465–1511) whose name was either Jeanne or Catherine.

She died in Italy together with her husband due to plague, having just given birth to a daughter.

Madeleine's elder sister, who inherited the County of Auvergne and married the Duke of Albany, lived longer than Madeleine but died childless, after which Auvergne passed to Madeleine's daughter Catherine.
