Macomb, Illinois
Macomb is a city located in McDonough County, Illinois. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 18,558. It is the county seat of McDonough County{{GR|6}}. Macomb is located in western Illinois, southwest of Galesburg. It was founded in 1831. Macomb is the home of Western Illinois University.
