Lund
Lund {{IPA|}} is a Scania city in the Skåne province in southernmost Sweden. The town is held to have be founded in year 990, when the area (terra Scaniae) belonged to King Sweyn I Forkbeard of Denmark. It came to be the center of religion as the episcopal see in the archdiocese of Lund, until overtaken by Sweden in 1658.

The city has today around 74,000 inhabitants with an unknown number of students are believed to be unaccounted for. The Lund Municipality includes several towns on the plains outside Lund, with 101,000 inhabitants.
