Luigi Tenco
Luigi Tenco (Cassine, Alessandria, March 21, 1938 - San Remo, Imperia, January 27, 1967) was a popular italian singer, songwriter and actor.

He committed suicide in his hotel room after learning that his song had been eliminated from the Italian Song Festival in San Remo. Only days earlier his wedding with French singer, and partner in the song contest, Dalida had been announced. It was she who discovered his body.
