Luc Longley

Lucien James "Luc" Longley (born January 19 1969 in Melbourne, Australia) is arguably Australia's most successful basketball player, winning three NBA championship rings as a member of the Chicago Bulls starting five from 1995-96 through 1997-98.

A 7'2" (218 cm) center who played college basketball at the University of New Mexico, Longley provided part of the defensive muscle in a team full of stars, including the superstar Michael Jordan.

Longley also played three seasons with the Minnesota Timberwolves (who drafted him seventh overall in the 1991 NBA Draft), two with the Phoenix Suns and one with the New York Knicks. He retired after the 2000-01 season with NBA career averages of 7.2 points and 4.9 rebounds per game.
