Luc Dardenne (March 10, 1954 in Awirs, Liège, Belgium) is a filmmaker.

A university graduate in philosophy he entered the film business with his brother, Jean-Pierre Dardenne. They came to prominence in 1999 when their film Rosetta won the "Palme d'Or", the top prize at the Cannes Film Festival. In 2005, they repeated as "Palme d'Or" winners with the film, L'Enfant (The Child).
