Luanne Platter

Luanne Platter is a character in the animated series King of the Hill. She is the niece of Peggy Hill and a cousin of Bobby Hill and was a student at the local beauty academy. She moved in with the Hills after her mother, Leanne, was sent to jail for stabbing her dad with a fork. The Platter family trailer home flipped over following the stabbing incident. Hank Hill and friends (Dale Gribble, Bill Dauterive, and Boomhauer) tried to right the trailer home, using Hank's truck, but the trailer only brought bad memories back for Luanne. Upon being visited by her guardian angel Buckley, she realized that she was meant for something more, and she would drop out of beauty academy to enroll in Arlen Community College. Later on the desire to make people beautiful returned so Luanne went to work for a unisex salon known as Hottys only to get fired by standing up for Bill Dauterive. Luanne currently works for Jack's Barber Shop with both Bill and Jack who seems to have recently regained his marbles.
