Low-frequency radar
The radar cross section of any target depends on the radar transmitted frequency. Below 900 MHZ The target radar cross section increases exponentially. So it is an advantage to operate radar at frequencies below 900MHz.

Another technology is to use Over The Horizon (OTH) Radar. This uses applying low frequency to get return from upper layer of atmosphere.

The above both types of radars are known as Low-Frequency Radars.
