"" is Prince and the New Power Generation's 1992 follow-up to Diamonds and Pearls. The album is often referred to as "The Love Symbol Album" because the symbol that is its title cannot be pronounced. The official title "Prince and The New Power Generation" appears on some prints of the album.

The album is somewhat more consistant than "Diamonds and Pearls" and is usually considered a better album in general amongst fans. The singles "My Name Is Prince" and "Sexy MF" did considerably well on the charts and 7 was a top ten hit. The album was originally conceived as a rock-soap opera with various spoken segues throughout. However in a last-minute attempt to add an additional song, most of the segues had to be cut for album length. The few that remained were somewhat confusing in context, and many believed they should have been either kept intact or eliminated altogether. The album also debuts Mayte Garcia, who also plays a part in the album's storyline and would become Prince's wife in 1996. In a dispute with Warner Bros. Prince would later change his name to the infamous symbol.
