Louis II, Prince of Monaco
Louis II of Monaco (July 12, 1870 – May 9, 1949) was the Sovereign Prince of Monaco from June 26, 1922 until May 9, 1949.

- Confused versions of this story claim that either Marie Louvet or her mother was laundress or "washerwoman" to Louis' regiment: in fact, Marie Louvet?s step-mother, not her mother, had been Louis? laundress in Constantine, Algeria.
