Los Angeles Galaxy

The Los Angeles Galaxy is one of two Major League Soccer (MLS) franchises located in Los Angeles, California. The team colors are yellow and green; the home jerseys are yellow with a green and black diagonal sash. The Galaxy have been in the league since 1996. They played their home games at the Rose Bowl from 1996-2002 and moved into their own Soccer-specific stadium, the Home Depot Center, in 2003, which they share (since 2005) with C.D. Chivas USA. The Galaxy has the highest all-time attendance in league history and is the first MLS team to make a profit for a season. Their mascot is known as "Cozmo," a frog-like extraterrestrial.
