Los Angeles City Council
The Los Angeles City Council is the governing body of the City of Los Angeles, California, United States. They hold regular meetings in City Hall on Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays.

The Los Angeles City Council is composed of fifteen members from fifteen administrative districts. Each concilmember is elected to a 4 year term. The President of the Council is elected after the first regular meeting after June 30 on odd-numbered years by the council memmbers. So too is the President Pro Tempore elected in the same fashion. The Asst. President Pro Tempore is appointed by the Presidents.
