Looe

Looe (Cornish: Logh) is the principal seaside town of south-east Cornwall, UK, consisting of East Looe and West Looe. They are joined by a seven-arched Victorian bridge across the River Looe.

Portlooe is a hamlet to the south of West Looe at {{gbmappingsmall|SX240526}} that is not alongside the sea and consequently has no port.

Before the Great Reform Act of 1832, West Looe and East Looe returned two MPs each to the unreformed House of Commons despite their tiny populations, becoming renowned as archetypal rotten boroughs.
