Lonnie Dennis (born ca. 1938) is a former professional Canadian football player with the Canadian Football League's the British Columbia Lions. After playing college football at Brigham Young University, Dennis spent his entire 9-year CFL career as an offensive lineman for the Lions. He was named CFL All-Star in 1963 and 1964, and was a part of the Lions Grey Cup victory in 1964.

On Monday February 13, 2006, Lonnie Billiter Jr., 24, a Colerain Township native, became the eighth bowler to achieve a perfect 900 score (36 strikes in a row), sanctioned by the U.S. Bowling Congress, since records started being kept in the 1890s. He was the first since Darren Pomije, of New Prague, MN, on Dec. 9, 2004. Billiter achiefed the feat in Fairfield Lanes, a bowling alley in Cincinnati, Ohio.
