Llanwrda (Llan-wrda), a parish and a village in the county of Carmarthenshire, South Wales, 3? miles from the river Towy, (W. by S.) from Llandovery.

This parish is intersected by the A40 road between Llandeilo and Llandovery and stands at the junction of the A482 road to Lampeter and Aberaeron. Nearby are the Dolaucothi Gold Mines.
