Liza Wang

Liza Wang (汪明荃, born August 28, 1947)(formally known as Miss Wang Ming-chun, Elizabeth,S.B.S., and informally as "The Big Sister") is an accomplished diva, actress and performer in the Hong Kong entertainment industry.

Today

In addition to her position as a regular MC of TVB's anniversary celebrations , charity spectaculars and other light entertainment shows , her acting career has now been rekindled .Wang often playing mature roles against the leading men she started her career with e.g. Adam Cheng with whom she worked in 1976's The Legend of the book and the sword and 2004's Blade Heart.When she finds the time from her schedule for it and probably because such concerts are rare , Wang can still pack out even the largest of Hong Kong's concert venues .

Her Charity work was recognised in July 2004 with the award of the Silver Bauhinia Star under the new Hong Kong honours system.
