Liz Claman

Liz (Elizbeth Kate) Claman, (born December 12, 1963), is the anchor of the CNBC morning program Morning Call and of the CNBC newsmagazine program Cover to Cover. She also presents short business reports for local NBC stations. Previously, Claman was co-host of the program Wake-Up Call. She has also substituted for Brian Williams when his newscast appeared on CNBC.

An article in the New York Times once called Claman a giant swimsuit model. Claman's CNBC co-workers gave her the nickname "The Beak".

Former colleagues of Claman describe her very strong (and sometimes bawdy) off-the-air sense of humor. She once responded to a fan e-mail stating she looked like a cow with a one word e-mail reply, "Mooooo!!"
