Live and Kicking was a BBC Saturday morning variety programme that was aimed at kids and included a mix of competitions, comedy, music and cartoons such as the Rugrats. It aired from 1993 to 2001.

The original presenters were Emma Forbes and Andi Peters, they presented the show from 1993 until 1996. They were followed by Zoë Ball and Jamie Theakston, who presented it from 1996 until 1999. From 1999-2000, Steve Wilson and Emma Ledden, presented it, however they were soon dropped and a complete new image for the show was introduced in 2000. They introduced 4 new presenters, Katy Hill, Trey Farley, Ortis Deley and Sarah Cawood. Later on in the series, they relocated to Scotland, Katy however decided to stay in London and left the series. She was soon replaced by Heather Suttie. However the BBC decided to AXE the series due to poor ratings soon after.

From 1993 until 1999, there was a showbiz segment called the Electric Circus and was presented by such people as, John Barrowman, Dannii Minogue and Gail Porter.
