Littleton, Colorado
Littleton is a city located in Arapahoe County, Colorado, in the Denver-Aurora metropolitan area. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 40,340. It is the county seat of Arapahoe County{{GR|6}}. Portions of the city are also located in Jefferson County and Douglas County.

The city of Littleton became widely known in 1999 when the Columbine High School massacre occurred at the nearby Columbine High School; however, the school is located in unincorporated Jefferson County and is thus not in Littleton, but has a Littleton postal address.
