Other Families

Brown

• Cleveland Brown – Friend and neighbor to Peter Griffin. He speaks in a perpetual slow monotone, although in one episode it is revealed that he used to be an auction hoster with a normal voice until he was one day hit in the head, forever changing his voice. Cleveland is ex-husband to Loretta, father to Cleveland Jr. He runs a delicatessen in Quahog. He frequently insults Loretta's mother. His name is most likely a reference to the Cleveland Browns NFL football team.
• Loretta Brown – Ex-wife to Cleveland, mother to Cleveland Jr. Loretta is a strong willed woman, keen on promoting black culture. In season 4, she cheated on Cleveland with Glen Quagmire, which led to their divorce. Did not attend Cleveland's funeral when he was thought to be deceased. (removed from show)
• Cleveland Brown, Jr. – Son of Cleveland and Loretta. He is a very hyperactive child, who suffers from an attention deficiency. For a while, he did not appear as often as he did in the second season, but he attended his father's funeral, when he was thought to have died.
• Chet – Great Uncle to Cleveland who died between The Tonight Show and The Today Show. (deceased)
• Broderick Brown – Cleveland's brother, a plastic surgeon specializing in liposuction. Said to have operated on Nell Carter (and used the fat he extracted to create Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell). He did extensive cosmetic surgery on Peter Griffin, such as rhinoplasty, glutoplasty, etc.

Swanson

• Joe Swanson – Friend and neighbor to Peter Griffin. Joe is a policeman and diehard Steven Seagal fan. Despite being paralysed from the waist down, Joe is physically fit, and can even endure many things more able-bodied people cannot. Comically, he has a very muscular upper body and had atrophied legs (a fellow police officer once did an impression of Joe by saying, "My legs don't work, but I make up for it by having a strong upper body!", leading Joe to respond, "Well, I do say that.") That is, he had atrophied legs until they were were totally eaten from the knee down by Peter Griffin in The Perfect Castaway, when Peter, Joe, Quagmire, and Cleveland found themselves adift on the sea without food. (His legs were subsequently replaced by new ones from a death row inmate who got the chair. ironiclly enough, the death row inmate was also a parapeligic) He has boundless enthusiasm and a do-or-die attitude. In one episode he explains that his injuries were caused when he tried to save Christmas from The Grinch and fell from the rooftop.
• Bonnie Swanson – Wife to Joe, and mother to Kevin. Bonnie is perpetually pregnant, never actually bearing any new children (which isn't too surprising, since none of the other characters have shown any physical signs of aging). Peter even noted in "Blind Ambition" that she's "been pregnant for six years."
• Kevin Swanson – 16-year-old son of Joe and Bonnie. Like his father, Kevin is strong and handsome. He works part-time at a Gas station. He usually quietly endures his father's drill sargeant-like attitude but has occasional angry outbursts. He is fond of Phish and Radiohead.

Quagmire

• Glenwood Quagmire – Glen, known to his friends as Quagmire, is an infamous pervert and sex maniac. Quagmire works as a pilot, but was formerly in the navy on an aircraft carrier, possibly as a pilot or other air-related job. He is friend and neighbor to Peter Griffin. His catch phrases include "Alll riiight...", "Oh!", and "Giggity giggity", used so frequently that Cleveland once made an astonished comment during one episode when Quagmire failed to use these phrases. Obsessed with Peter's wife Lois, whom he tries to seduce when the opportunity arises (not successful)
• Mother Quagmire – Glen Quagmire's mother, featured in a flashback to Glenn's childhood. As an infant, Glen, typical of his perverted ways in later years, purposely cried in an attempt to breast-feed. She was also featured off camera and apparently gets really upset when anyone tries to tell the Quagmire Cat "Mittens" to shut up. It has been suggested that Quagmire and his mother have had or are willing to have an incestual relationship.
• Spanish Son of Quagmire – 20-something son of Quagmire who lives in Madrid with his mother. Naturally, he speaks native Spanish, however it is intercut with "Giggity"s.

Goldman

• Mort Goldman – Peter's whiny jewish school friend. Mort works as a pharmacist. He is husband to Muriel, and father to Neil. Hypochondriac.
• Muriel Goldman – Harpy wife to Mort, overbearing mother to Neil. Met Mort through a video dating service.
• Neil Goldman – 16-year-old whiny son of Mort and Muriel. Neil runs the school newspaper, and has an unrequited love for Meg Griffin. Normally speaks in a high-pitched, slurred, stereotypical nerd voice, but speaks in a deep, smooth voice when not wearing his retainer. He often attemps to act cool, but fails miserably due to his awkward nature and nerdish voice. He has appearently been taken over by Sam Beckett from Quantum Leap and will not be able to leap again until Meg falls in love with him. Recognizes that Captain James T. Kirk is better than Jean-Luc Picard.

Tucker

• Tom Tucker – Local Channel 5 Quahog News Anchorman. Husband to Stacy and father of Jake Tucker, works with Diane Simmons. Is often seen with prostitutes: when caught on-screen with them, he says that the person who hired the courtesan is his evil twin brother Tad Tucker.
• Stacy Tucker – Wife to Tom and stepmother of Jake, she hates her husband. In episode 1 of the fourth season, Stacy makes her first appearence when she tells Tom to "Go to Hell..." upon which he responds "Already there, hun." It's widely believed that Stacy is not Jake's birth mother, as in one episode, Tom is giving Jake a lecture about how Stacy is not his real mother.
• Jake Tucker – Tom & Stacy Tucker's spoiled son who has an upside-down face. He also apparently doesn't have a sphincter. In a season 4 episode, he gets Chris Griffin framed for drinking in school. In retaliation, Stewie and Brian frame him for possessing drugs.

Jack's Family

• Jack – Loving man who has adopted many children from various races in order to create the beginnings of racial harmony. He briefly adopted Stewie after Child's Services thought the baby was addicted to crack.
• Sarah – Married to Jack; refused to return Stewie to the Griffins until they bribed her with a Prada bag.
• Li – One of the adopted babies.
• Paco – One of the adopted babies.
• Uric – One of the adopted babies.

Campbell

• Dave Campbell – Nudist. Dave was once saved from drowning by Peter Griffin. He is the husband of Dotty, and is father of Jeff. Member of the KISS Army.
• Dotty Campbell – Nudist. Wife of Dave, and mother of Jeff.
• Jeff Campbell – 16-year-old son of Dave and Dotty. Jeff is also a nudist, and once dated Meg Griffin.
• young child with unknown name.

Pinchley

• Nigel Pinchley – Father to Eliza. Briefly owner of the Drunken Clam before attempting to claim insurance by burning it down and framing Peter. Lois discovered his fraud. (Deported to England, then Hanged.)
• Eliza Pinchley – Daughter of Nigel Pinchley. Since his hanging she has lived in an orphanage, but plots revenge against Lois, whom she blames for her father's death, much to Stewie's delight. Before arriving in Quahog, she speaks in a thick cockney accent, but Stewie trains her to speak in a "Queen's English" accent, based on the musical My Fair Lady.

Stevenson

• Jim Stevenson – Bought the Griffin's house briefly when Peter was unable to pay a loan back to the bank. He is a very cultured man, and is married to Abby. Stewie was angered by his inability to play Pictionary well.
• Abby Stevenson – Wife of Jim.

Isaacs

• Glen Isaacs – Has a fetish for brain tumors. He is married to Judy.
• Judy Isaacs – Has an inoperable brain tumor. She is married to Glen.

Nelson

• Jerry Nelson – Local ninja, husband of Janey. One of the finders of the Pawtucket Patriot's Silver Scrolls.
• Janey Nelson – Wife of Jerry.

The Evil Monkey Family

• The Evil Monkey – Lives in Chris' closet and frequently threatens to kill him.Despite this, the monkey seems fond of Chris, as he was saddened when Chris joined the Peace Corps. However, no one in Chris' family believes him when he tries to explain this.Evil Monkey turned evil after coming home early to tell his wife he'd made partner only to find her in bed with another monkey. When not menacing Chris the Evil Monkey likes to just lay back, listen to Foghat, and smoke weed.
• The Evil Monkey's wife – Cheated on her husband with another monkey.
• The Cheating Monkey – Not actually part of the same monkey family as the previous two, he had sex with the Evil Monkey's wife.
• The Evil Asian Monkey – may just be the "normal" Evil Monkey with a wig if not the Evil Asian Monkey lives in Asiantown and has black hair. Seen when the Griffins are running from the police.
