List of born-again Christian laypeople
The following well-known individuals have, at some point, identified themselves as "born again." According to Christian Evangelical doctrine, Christianity requires believers to "be born again", as Jesus is cited as saying in John 3:1-5. However, people who self-identify as a "born-again Christian" usually intend to indicate that they have undergone a particular kind of conversion to the Christian faith, often reported to be an emotionally intense "personal" encounter with Jesus Christ, accompanied by a dramatic change in their pattern of living.

Not all Christians agree on the meaning of being born-again (the term is generally only widely used by Evangelicals); this list does not imply that those so listed are universally recognized as such by other Christians, nor that those Christians not listed are not Christians. This list of self-declared born-again Christian lay-people omits pastors, priests, evangelists, and missionaries. (See also: List of Evangelical Christians)
