Lima is a city in Allen County, Ohio. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 40,081. It is the county seat of Allen County. Lima is located in northwestern Ohio, north of Dayton along Interstate 75; it was founded in 1831. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
