Lil' Flip

Disputes
While on tour, Lil' Flip and Hump had a dispute over the royalities from his albums sales. He and his cousin (an artist on the label also) left to form their own record label Clover G. Lil' Flip was being sued for breach of contract due to the fact he owed four albums to Sucka Free Records. Lil' Flip decide to form his own label to gain more creative freedom and earn more success from his next album.

Lil' Flip was also engaged in a high-profile battle with Atlanta rapper T.I.. According to T.I., who calls himself the King of the South, Lil' Flip dissed T.I. onstage at a concert in Atlanta, mocking his audacious claim to King (Lil' Flip denied dissing T.I., and apparently T.I. only learned of the diss by hearsay). The two released numerous disses on mixtapes and the radio, including T.I.'s "99 Problems (But Lil' Flip Ain't One)" over the beat of the similarly titled Jay-Z hit. T.I. crashed a concert in Atlanta and distributed posters featuring Lil' Flip wearing his leprechaun suit (from his debut album). The dispute came to a head when T.I. shot a video in Lil' Flip's own neighborhood in Houston. According to Allhiphop.com, T.I. was on a Houston radio station talking about the situation between him and Lil' Flip, and he managed to take shots at the neighborhood that Lil' Flip grew up in. The rapper was confronted by Lil' Flip and fellow Houston rapper Z-Ro, and a fight broke out between them. Z-Ro threw a punch at T.I., Lil' Flip intended to jump in but was stopped by MacBoney of from T.I.'s crew P$C, who quickly stopped him. The feud has since been resolved behind closed doors.
