Lija


 
 

Lija is a small village located approximately in the centre of Malta. It has a parish church and three small chapels. The parish church is dedicated to our Lord the Saviour.

Lija is renowned for its marvellous fireworks. The official University Residence of the University of Malta is situated in this village.
