Lift

There are multiple definitions of lift:

• A space elevator, also called a skyhook.
• A hitchhiking ride.
• That which is included in elevator shoes which actually increases height more than an ordinary shoe would.
• Lift (soft drink) - a carbonated soft drink by The Coca-Cola Company made with fruit juice.
• In mathematics, the lift of a curve to the covering space is defined through the homotopy lifting property.
• In ballet, lifts are an important part of partnering and pas de deux.
