Life (film)

Life is a 1999 feature film from Universal Pictures. It stars Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence as two men forced into moonshining (being unable to otherwise pay off their debts), who take a shipment of booze into the deep south of Mississippi in 1932. They are framed for murder, and the judge sentences them to life in prison. The pair therefore spend the next seven decades in prison, at various times making attempts to break out and escape, becoming best friends at the end. Also starring in the film are Bernie Mac and Miguel A. Nunez, Jr..
