Les jeux sont faits
Les Jeux Sont Faits (The Game is Up), is an existential play by Jean-Paul Sartre in 1952. It was originally written in French, the only known English translation was by Louise Varése published as The Chips Are Down. It is no longer in print. The play takes place in France in a World War II-like setting. It's about Pierre and Eve, soulmates who don't meet until after they die. In the after life they see the terrible things that they overlooked while living and are granted the chance to return to life and correct them.
