Leopold Vietoris
Dr. Leopold Vietoris (June 4, 1891 - April 9, 2002) was an Austrian mathematician who gained additional fame by reaching an extremely old age.

He was known for his contributions to topology and other fields of mathematics, his interest in mathematical history and for being a keen alpinist. He attended the University of Innsbruck where he earned his Ph.D.
