Lenin Prize
Lenin Prize (Russian: ?????????? ???????) was one of the highest awards in the Soviet Union. It was created on June 23 1925 and was awarded until 1934. In 1935-1956 Lenin Prize was not awarded. August 15 1956 it was reestablished and since then was awarded again until 1990. Lenin Prize was awarded every even year on April 22 (V.I. Lenin's birthday) to individuals in the fields of science, literature, arts, architecture and technology.
